Dr Maya Kumar, an eminent educationist, passionate and dedicated towards children’s education. She has a specialized Master’s Degree in physics and a Ph.D in Secondary Education. She has dedicated over 33 years to the field of education and has served in respected institutions namely Kendriya Vidyalaya and Navodaya Vidyalaya.
Her dream project Chiranjeevee School was launched in 1996 with the aim – “To provide children with thematic based education”. After 23 years of developing and delivering excellence in the field of primary education, that Dr. Maya has stepped forward towards fulfilling her dream of having a school for all age group of students,a senior secondary “The Chiranjeevee Play/Public School”.
Through this school, she promises to deliver knowledge that focuses on a child’s holistic development in the field of academics, sports and arts through concept education.
Dr. Maya is a visionary and an honoured writer. Dr. Abdul Kalam is her source of inspiration. Her eminent literary works are “Humare Chacha Nehru:” and “Karodo ke Prenapunj Dr Kalam”. She has also authored 7 books for pre-primary classes based on child psychology and thematic curriculum.
She believes that in the 21st century a school must be a medium to gain knowledge and not just academic education. We must focus on training our children with life skills that will help them succeed in this new world of competition and excellence. Inculcating confidence in each and child and helping them succeed is imperative. With the help of innovative technology, critical thinking and effective communication in a pleasant enviroment we can help our children excel and achieve everything their heart desires!
